Memorial services for Richard W. Hall, 75, of Leland will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 at his home. Burial will be in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mr. Hall grew up in Trenton, NE where he attended school. He had been a resident of Leland since 1971.
Richard had been retired for 10 years. He worked for the shipyards for many years, Washington County, Baxter’s in Cleveland Industrial Services, Lee’s Heating and Air and farmed for several years. He was a farmer at heart, also a welder, mechanic and all around fixer upper.
He was a long time member of Glendale Baptist Church.
He was a loving husband and father. He was also loved by many nieces, nephews and so, so many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles D. and Ruth Hall; three sisters, Ruby Drake, Queta McIntire and Lizzy Sidell; and by three brothers, Mac Hall, James (baby Jimmy) Hall and Delbert “Butch” Hall.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Hall; daughter, Tina Hall of Greenville; six sisters, Twyla McClung of Trenton, NE, Ada Rodgers Donald of Vaiden, MS, Ramona (Monie) Morgan of Oakdale, CA, Barbara Bender of Scottsbluff, NE, Wendy Morgan of Riverbank, CA and Sandy Wakeman of Kersey, CO; and three brothers, Lyman Hall of Trenton, NE, John Hall of Indianola, NE and Robert Hall of Culbertson, NE.
