Funeral services for Richard W. Johnson, 75, of Greenwood will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at Greenwood Leflore Hospital. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Johnson; daughter, Vickie Mallory and sisters, Marjorie Ferguson and Marjorie Stevens.
He is survived by daughter, Tracy Gray (Randy) of Grenada; son, Ricky Johnson (Rhonda) of Winona; sister, Peggie White (John) of Lexington, SC; two step sons, Bill Meredith of Oxford, PA and John Meredith of Greenville; five step daughters, Debra Meredith of Murfreesboro, TN, Lisa Hitt of Pearl, MS, Angie Calvert of Murfreesboro, TN, Missy Eskridge of Grenada and Kimberly Hardage of Grenada; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 13 step grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Randy Gray, Michael Paul Savage, John Mark Kilpatrick, Wayne Tubby, Blake Meredith and Earl Smith, Honorary Pallbearers will be John Adams.
