Graveside services for Robert Cecil Wade, 79, of Huntsville, AL and formerly of Leland will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 30 at Hollandale City Cemetery. He died Monday, June 26 at Huntsville Nursing and Rehab. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
He was the son of Edgar and Runie Weaver Wade and was a native of Washington County, MS where he attended public schools. Mr. Wade made his home in Leland in 1973 until moving to Huntsville, AL in 2008. He was a member of the Lakeview Baptist Church in Leland.
Mr. Wade was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Christine Treadway, Margaret Moore and Geneva Ware and by a brother, Felix Wade. He is survived by 2 sisters, Genelle McCool and Sue Patterson.
