Memorial services for Robert W. Bailey, 76, of Leland will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Leland-Stoneville Cemetery. He died Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Delta Health-The Medical Center. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Leland.
Robert was born in Shaw, MS on November 4, 1947 to Steve Duncan Bailey and Mary Frances Leford Bailey. He graduated from Greenville High School. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U. S. Air Force. After his discharge he made his home in Leland. Robert worked at Greenville Mills as a machinist retiring after many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Charles Earl Bailey and Donald David Bailey. He is survived by daughter, Christine Renee Joyce Brocato; two sisters, Bonnie Crawford (Jeff) and Mary Jane McClain (Kenny); and two brothers, Douglas “Bud” Bailey (Scharley) and Ricky James Bailey (Lynn); three grandsons, Nathan Whesley Brocato, Anthony Brocato and Kaleb Burton Bryan Brocato and three great grandchildren.
