Robert Winslow Jones, 70, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on May 10, 2026. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at South Main Church of Christ in Greenville, MS. There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will follow at Lakeview Gardens in Greenville, MS. Bob requested everyone to wear blue jeans or casual wear, no suits and ties. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Bob was born on February 25, 1956, in Tampa, Florida. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He and his wife, Rhonda, enjoyed riding in their Jeep and enjoying time with family and friends. He had a passion to create with his hands and a love for Jeeps and the beach. He was a devoted employee of Mississippi Marine for forty-five years.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Russell Jones, his mother, Jeanette Winslow Jones, and his infant son, Johnathan Ashley Jones. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Berry Jones, his son Matthew Blair Jones (Mary Margaret) of Greenville, MS, his daughter Elizabeth Ashley Pellum (Ryan) of Hernando, MS, his brother, Bradley Russell Jones (Elizabeth) of Greenville, MS, and his three grandchildren, Aidan Jones of Greenville, MS, Tristan Pellum and Noah Pellum of Hernando, MS, his niece, Rebecca Carson (Bailey) of Cleveland, MS, and his nephew, Thomas Jones of Greenville, MS.
Pallbearers are Doug Wasson, Don Ray, Lawrence Berry, Aidan Jones, Tristan Pellum, David Barnett, Thomas Jones, and Bailey Carson. Honorary Pallbearers are Noah Pellum, David Turner, Tommy McKinnon, and Larry Luke.
The family wishes to thank the Delta Health Systems Hospice nurses, Mikayla, Trudy, Ana, and Conner Grace, for all of their love and care they showed to Bob.
