Funeral services for Rodney Steven “Big Steve” Toler, Jr., 23, of Collinsville, MS will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2016 at Boone-Smith Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Saturday, August 20 in Chunky, MS. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Steven was born on July 4, 1993 in Greenville to Rodney and Vanessa Clark Toler. He was a 2011 graduate of West Lauderdale High School where he was a member of the West Lauderdale golf team. After graduation he attended Meridian Community College, Mississippi Delta Community College and Delta State University.
He was an avid lover of sports, the Mississippi State Bulldogs, and he enjoyed golf and fishing. He loved his dogs, Chevy and Willow. Steven had a large personality and loved to make everyone laugh. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Marvin and Tina Redd Clark of Greenville. He is survived by his parents, Rodney and Vanessa Clark Toler; 2 sisters, Sydney and Shelby Toler all of Collinsville, MS; his paternal grandparents, Billy and Gwen Toler of Greenville and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
