Funeral services for Ronald Franklin Sides, 76, of Greenville will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He passed away on Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at University of Mississippi Medical Center from injuries sustained from a vehicle accident. Burial will be at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Serepta Cemetery in Stewart, MS.
Mr. Sides retired from the Greenville Fire Department on December 25, 1993 after twenty-three years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lessie and Benjamin Sides and a grandson, Bobby Worbington.
Ronnie leaves behind a brother, Thomas Fowler and a sister, Cheryl (Sam) Carruth; son, Ronald F. Sides, Jr.; daughter, Heather “Christi” Homan; two grandsons, Kyle and Zachary Sides, three granddaughters, Jennafer Worbington, Megan Worbington and Makalia (Hunter) Sulecki and five great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
