Funeral services for Ronnie Morris, 65, of Leland will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 11 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Tuesday, August 8 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Ronnie was born in Greenville and graduated from Riverside School. After graduation he made his home in Leland. Ronnie worked for Mississippi Materials where he was a supervisor and retired after 30 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Everett and Gladys Jones Morris; by a sister, Brenda Patterson and brother, Jerry Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Luther Morris of Leland; 2 daughters, Rhonda McGraw of Leland and Laura Easton of Bartlett, TN; son, Brandon Morris of Cordova, TN; sister, Vickie Morris of Houston, TX; brother, John Morris of Houston, TX; and 5 grandchildren, Madelynn McGraw, Mark McGraw, Jr., Jerrion Morris, Olivia Easton, and Eli Easton.
There will be a visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 10 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
