Rosalie M. Womack, 85, of Leland, MS, passed away on November 13, 2023, in Greenville, MS. She was born on August 11, 1938, in Indianola, MS. Rosalie was a beloved member of the community, known for her dedication to St. James Catholic Church in Leland, MS, where she served in the Ladies Alter Society. She was also an active member of the Leland/Deer Creek Garden Club. Rosalie found joy in gardening, having lunch with friends, and visiting her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Rosalie is survived by her loving five children, Marlin (Catherine) Womack, Michael (Sancy) Womack, Margaret Sexton, Mark Womack, and Mitchell (Julia) Womack. She is also survived by her loving twelve grandchildren, Jacqueline (Brian) Hays, Trey Nette, Sarah (Josh) Jackson, Eric Nette, Elizabeth (Colin) Edmundson, Michelle (Keith) Bell, Chip Womack, Brandon Womack, Madison (Nathan) Moore, Lane Womack, Addison Floyd, and Joseph Womack. Her surviving four great-grandchildren are Corey Womack Nolan Hays, Harley Jackson, and Eve Hays. She is also survived by her two sisters, Nancy Vesper and Barbara Pettis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry M. Womack, her parents Mafalda and Guerino Mangialardi, and her sisters, Carolyn Campbell, and Eldena Pridemore.
Rosalie had a successful career as a Controller for Moeller Manufacturing Company, where she dedicated 35 years of her life.
