Funeral services for Roy Allen Peeples, 63, of Greenville will be at 1:30 p.m., Saturday at Harmony Baptist Church, Greenville. He died Thursday at his home. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery in Cruger, MS. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Roy was born to Charles and Ruth Peeples in Carthage, Missouri. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam War. Roy lived his life through his grandchildren that he so dearly loved. His interest included golfing, riding horses, and watching his grandchildren play sports.
He is preceded in death by his parents and by a brother, Billy Peeples. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Nancy Peeples; daughter, Gena (Jeremy) Woods; 2 sons, Greg (Vicki) Fore and Chris Peeples; 5 brothers, Dean (Radora) Peeples, Dale Peeples, Dewayne (Gigi) Peeples, Charles (Barbara) Peeples and Stephen (Donna) Peeples; 2 sisters, Linda Peeples and Carolyn (Danny) Wablington; 2 brother-in-laws, Calvin (Teresa) Watkins and Dr. Timothy (Pam) Watkins and sister-in-law, Tammy (Richard) Wolfe; and by 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at Harmony Baptist Church, Greenville.
