Funeral services for Ruth Bierman Stewart, 83, of Greenville will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 29 at Impact Church, Greenville. She died Friday, January 26 at her home. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mrs. Stewart was a member of the American Legion where she served as treasurer. She ran Cooks Beauty Supply until she retired and then was a crossing guard for 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Stewart, daugther, Carol Reynolds, parents, Dewitt Bierman and Eudora Farrell and by a brother, Joe Bierman. She is survived by granddaughter, Heather Hughes (Tommy); grandson, Justin Reynolds (Kelsey); sister, Betty Dear (Dwight) of Star, MS; six great grandchildren, Blayne Hughes, Peyton Hughes, Chesney Hughes, Layla Hughes, Kyler Reynolds, and Kylie Reynolds; sister-in-law, Betty Stewart; special friend, J. R. Massey; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Sunday, January 28 at Boone-Smith Funeral Home, Greenville
