Funeral services for Ruth Lynnanne Cooper, 58, of Glen Allan will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at Lake Washington First Baptist Church, 1068 Lake Washington East, Glen Allan. She died Friday, September 22 at her home in Glen Allan. Burial will be in County Line Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born in Arcola, MS on December 15, 1958. She lived most of her life in Glen Allan. This is the place she called home. Her passion in life was to care and nurture her family which she did with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jim Cooper and Rita Greenlee Cooper and sister, Merry Jean Cooper, brother Jimbo Cooper.
She is survived by her husband, Tom Muir of Glen Allan; daughter, Jeanna Owens Edwards; son, David Harrison, Jr. of Glen Allan; sister, Sharon Pell Byram; brother, Jon Cooper (Christey) of Star; two grandchildren, Pearson Owens and Aniston Harrison; nephews, Ben Cooper (Tracy) and Jon Jon Cooper; and nieces, Chasity Cooper, Ashlyn Cooper, and Brittney Cooper, along with many other family and friends.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to the services at Lake Washington First Baptist Church.
