Memorial services for Samuel Joseph Manning, 34, of Stringtown will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Boone Funeral Home, Leland. He died Thursday, August 6, 2015.
He was a native of Leland and graduated from Leland High School then attended Mississippi Delta Community College. He was employed with USDA as an animal caretaker at Stoneville.
Mr. Manning was preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Morlino Bishop and grandparents, Sam and Marie Morlino. He is survived by his longtime girlfriend, Deane Holley of Greenville; Father, Floyd Manning of Stoneville; sister, Lacey Broussard of Eupora; brother, Heath Manning (Renee) of Wetumpka, AL; 2 stepsons, Jonathan and Jimmie Holley; 2 nieces, Heather and Emily Manning; nephew, Nathan Broussard; and step granddaughter, Jordyn Holley.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m, Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Boone Funeral Home, Leland. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Animal Relief Resource Foundation (ARRF).
