Sandra Jean Woods Brown, 70, of Greenville died Tuesday, February 13 at her home. There will be a visitation from 3:00-4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 17 at Boone-Smith Funeral Home, 1580 S. Colorado St. There will be no graveside services.
She was born on August 5, 1947 in Big Creek, MS to E. B. Woods and Bertha Hallum Woods.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, and her beloved first born son, Barron Lamar Brown of Greenville.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Alton Eugene (Gene) Brown; daughter, Carron (Wesley) Womble of Greenville; son, Aaron (Natalie) Brown of Hattiesburg; eight grandchildren, Kaleb (Dana) Brown, Mikkel Brown, Malaina Womble, Bayli Brown, Austin Brown all of Greenville, Colby Brown of Opelousas, LA, Grayden Brown and Jackson Brown both of Hattiesburg; many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of wonderful friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
