Funeral services for Sharon Britt, 66, of Hollandale will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church. She died Sunday, September 23 at Delta Regional Medical Center.
Sharon was born on October 18, 1951 in Pickin, IL to Morace and Lela Vore. She moved to Pearl, MS where she graduated from Pearl High School. In 1984 she married Neal Britt and they lived in Greenville. She was employed with Burke Handling Systems, retiring after 33 years. In 2001 they made their home in Hollandale. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Neal Britt of Hollandale; daughter Shelly Branning of Hollandale; two sons, Jimmy Orman of Greenville and Jeffrey Britt of Horn Lake; brother, Larry Vore of Richland and seven grandchildren, Jimmy Orman, Jr., Paxton Branning, Braylan Branning, Katelyn Trotter, Drake Orman, Cooper Britt, Brandon Barbee and Brooke Hogue and a host of nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to the services at the church. Mark Rowlen will officiate.
