Funeral services for Shiu Chu, 58, of Greenville will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 29, 2013 at First Baptist Church Chapel, Greenville. She peacefully passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Shiu, a loving wife, mother, sister and friend is fondly remembered for her happy and generous spirit. She was born in China and proudly became an American citizen shortly after arriving. She then joined the Chinese Mission of First Baptist Church and was a devout Christian. She was a woman of culture and refinement, gave freely of her time and energy. She was the type of woman who was bestowed with admiration and love. Her good deeds made the world better and will long keep her memory alive.
She is survived by her husband Robert, four daughters, Elizabeth, Mary, Selina, and Jessica and by her mother-in-law, Lily.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. The Rev. Born will officiate. Shiu has touched every single person lucky enough to meet her and will be forever loved.
