Funeral services for Snapper (Gene) Cooper, 78, of Greenville will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Delta Regional Medical Center due to heart failure. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Snapper was co-owner of Mainstream Mufflers for 39 years. He loved hunting and fishing with his wife. Snapper was very active in his church, Bethel Assembly of God, he loved the Lord, loved his wife, children and grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Graydon Cooper, mother, Meddie Louise Cooper and brother, Charles W. (Bo) Cooper.
He is survived by his wife, Paulette Cooper; son, Steve Cooper (Jennifer) of Lake Village, AR; daughter, Christi Cooper Harrison (Dave) and 5 grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 12:30-1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 3, 2021 at the funeral home. The Rev. Tim Cleveland is officiating.
