Funeral services for Stanley Stein Sherman, 78 of New Orleans and formerly of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 23 at the Hebrew Union Temple. He died Saturday, May 19 in Metairie, LA. Burial will be in the Greenville Jewish Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Mr. Sherman was born in Greenville and graduated from Greenville High School and then from The University of Mississippi. He co-owned and operated WBAD Radio and WESY Radio Stations. Mr. Sherman was a member of the Hebrew Union Congregation. He lived and made his home in Greenville and New Orleans.
He is survived by his wife, Andrea Lewis Sherman and brother, Charles S. Sherman of Oriental, NC.
