Memorial services for Susan Trice Williams, 67, of Leland will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Boone Funeral Home, Greenville is in charge of arrangements.
Susan was born on July 16, 1953 in Memphis, TN to Kathrine and Dr. John Collins Williams. After moving to Greenville, MS she attended Greenville High School. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 1974 and taught in the Greenville Public School system at Trigg Elementary for 25 years before retiring. After retirement she continued to volunteer at the school and share her knowledge and love for children.
Susan is survived by her husband Jerry (Buddy) Santucci; two sons, Paul and Justin Lanford; stepchildren, Jerry and Amanda Santucci and nine grandchildren.
She had a passion for helping her entire life, as evident by her volunteering, donating anything she could and rescuing animals. She enjoyed pitching horseshoes, playing bocce and cheering on the Mississippi State Bulldogs. Her greatest love was family though. She and Buddy were together for over 20 years. She was always proud of her two boys and known for spoiling all her grandbabies.
