Sylvia Levingston Scott, age 79 of Greenville, MS, passed away on Tuesday, October 23 surrounded by her family. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 25 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Sylvia had an outgoing personality, loved people, and never met a stranger. She was a generous woman who was loved by many.
She was preceded in death by her parents, L.F. “Juro” and Lorene Tindall and her brother Billy Tindall.
Sylvia is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, William E. Scott, her two children Diane Storey (Larry) and John Branum (Rosie), three stepchildren Eva Scott McGinnis, Margaret Scott Mayer (Paul), and Dennis Scott (Carol), 10 grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. Sylvia will also be forever remembered by her extended family and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Sylvia may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Camp Looking Glass, or the charity of your choice.
