Funeral services for Teresa Muncher Purvis, 55, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She passed away Sunday, June 21, 2020 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was born in Leland to Bobby and Hazel Donald Muncher. She graduated from O’Bannon High School and from Mississippi Delta Community College. Teresa was employed at King’s Daughters Hospital for many years in medical records. In 1994 she married Charles “Chuck” Purvis, Jr. making their home in Greenville before moving to Blackhawk.
She is survived by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Purvis, Jr. of Greenville ; son, Brandon Purvis (Heather) of Booneville; two stepdaughters, Caley Purvis of Jacksonville, FL and Ana Purvis of Corinth; parents, Bobby and Hazel D. Muncher of Holcomb; brother, Gary Muncher (Michelle) of Carrollton; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.; life-long friend, Ruby Tilson of Ft. Worth, TX.
There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
