Funeral services for Teressa Steed Brown, 59, of Hollandale will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 4 at Hollandale Baptist Church. She died Thursday, March 2 at her home in Hollandale. Burial will be in Hollandale City Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
She was an employee of Twin County EPA for 39 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jimmy” Brown, her son, Christopher “Chris” Allen Lloyd and her father, Ellis “E-daddy” Steed.
She is survived by her mother, Faye Porter Steed of Hollandale; 2 sisters, Debbie Newton (Tommy) of Vicksburg and Lisa Morris (Michael) of Brandon; brother, Terry Steed (Regan) of Brandon; nephew, Easton Newton (Sarah); 5 nieces, Danielle and Haley Furr, Madelyn and Mary Ellis Steed, and Ava Newton; step nephew, Kasen Reeves; step daughter, Ashley Jones of Flora, MS and step granddaughter, Mackenzie Jones.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the church.
