Funeral services for Thomas Lamar Jones, 57, of Houston, TX will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 7 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He died Friday, November 4 in Lake Village, AR. Burial will be in Leland-Stoneville Cemetery under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
He was a native of Greenville where he received his education and then attended Mississippi Delta Community College. Mr. Jones served in the National Guard for 7 years. He was in Air Conditioning and Heating. Mr. Jones had made his home in Houston, TX for the last 41 years.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Jones and a brother, David Jones. He is survived by a son, Frank James Jones; daughter, Angelia Jones; 2 stepdaughters, Stephanie and Rose Ann; mother, Sylvia Yvonne Jones of Lake Village; mother of his children, Rose; and 3 brothers, Timothy Michael Jones of Loogootee, IN, Jeffrey Allen Jones of Courtland, MS and Anthony Dale Jones of Houston, TX; and by many nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
