Funeral services for Travis Powell Rippee, 82, of Hollandale will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. He died on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at his home. Burial will be in Lakeview Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Travis was born in Mississippi and moved to Washington County at an early age where he graduated from Riverside High School. He worked at U.S. Gypsum Company for over 40 years. He enjoyed old movies, old cars and old music. Travis was liked by all and had a deep love for his family.
He is preceded in death by his son, James Glen Rippee. He is survived by a daughter, Cathy Partain of Hollandale; sister, Katie Sims of Hollandale; two brothers, Billy Rippee of Lake Village, AR and Jerry Rippee of Murphreesboro, TN; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday before the funeral at the funeral home.
