Victor Lee “Noonie” Olmi, 84, passed away at his home in Greenville, MS on August 22, 2021 surrounded by his children. Friends and Family are welcome to attend the visitation on Saturday, August 28 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at Boone Funeral Home, 905 Main Street, Greenville, MS. A celebration of life to follow at the Greenville Italian Recreation Club, 117 Italian Club Road Greenville, MS.
Born on Dec 15th, 1936, he graduated Shaw High School in 1954 and was a National Guard Veteran. He was a General Foreman for US Gypsum in Greenville for 30 years until his retirement in 1996. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, he had an innate ability to make anyone laugh with his quick wit and dry sense of humor. He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Brenda Olmi, father Enrico Olmi, mother Lesa Olmi, brothers Quinto and Joe Olmi, sisters Josie Olmi, Viola Olmi, Gloria Mitchell, Ginny Yarbrough, and Mary Ann Grissett.
Victor is survived by his sons, Ricky (Anna) Olmi of Hernando, Todd (Michele) Olmi of Greenville, daughter Stephanie Threet of Greenville, sister Angelina Dixon of Aberdeen, MS and grandchildren Megan Austin, Brittany Olmi, Danielle Olmi, Ethan Olmi, Emma Kate Threet and great grandchild Zoey Michele Austin.
