Funeral Mass for Violet Mae Morgan Renaldo, 89, of Jonesboro, AR will be a 12:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church in Indianola. She passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at St. Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Burial will be in the Indianola City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Indianola.
Mrs. Renaldo was born in Poughkeepsie, AR where she received her education. In 1953 she married Charles Peter Renaldo, Sr. and they made their home in Indianola where she worked in retail and owned and operated Renaldo’s Café.
While living in Indianola she was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and has lived in Jonesboro for the past 22 years where she was active in the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
Mrs. Renaldo had a special love for her great grandchildren and a passion for baking and cooking.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1989, a son, Anthony Renaldo and six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son, Charles P. Renaldo, Jr. of Jonesboro, AR; 2 granddaughters, Katrina Heard (Gene) and Tamara Matheny (Robert); grandson, Curtis Kendrick; daughter-in-law, Sheila Renaldo; 5 great grandchildren, Courtney Renaldo, Brandon Heard, Noah Twyford, Benjamin Matheny and Hunter Matheny; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a visitation at 11:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the church.
