Funeral services for Vonda Bell Hitt, 59, of Greenville will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Temple Baptist Church. There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in the Leland-Stoneville Cemetery. She passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson.
Vonda was born on December 6, 1965, in Greenville, MS to James and Myrtis Williams Bell.
She was a member of Temple Baptist Church. Vonda always put others before herself and had a heart of gold. She was known by others as being one of the sweetest persons.
Vonda was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Sheila Bell. She is survived by her husband, Kenny Hitt of Greenville; son, David Menotti, Jr. (Toma Gale) of Monticello, AR; daughters, Anna Hitt Vamosi (Frank) of Greenville and Amanda Huddleston (David) of Lake Village, AR; sister, Margaret Behrends of Livingston, TX; 6 grandchildren, Francis “Frank” Claude Vamosi, Chester Owen Menotti, Cooper James MMenotti, Genevieve Rayne Menotti, Peyton Carter Servis and Kinsley Grace Huddleston; and her fur baby, Sam.
