Graveside services for Walter Henry Adams, Jr., 66, of Greenville will be at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, January 30 at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. He died Sunday, January 27 at his home. Arrangements are under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Walter was born in Missouri where he started his education before moving with his family in 1970 to Greenville. He graduated from Greenville High School in 1971 and attended Mississippi State University. Walter’s last employment was at Factory Furniture.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Henry Adams, Sr. He is survived by two daughters, Wendy Adams Langer of St. Louis, MO and Dana Mullen of Greenville; two sons, Michael Barham (Misty) of DeFuniak Springs, FL and James Ivy (Brenda) of Shalamar, FL; mother, Lois Adams of Greenville; three sisters, Deborah Gonzalez of Greenville, Evelyn Gonzalez (Aaron, Sr.) of Houston, TX and Donna Jenkins (Billy) of Fulton, MS; brother, Williams Adams (Betty) of Greenville, six grandchildren and one great grandson.
There will be a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 30 at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
