Weldon Wesley Koehn was born April 23, 1932 near Galva, Kansas. He died January 24, 2021 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. There will be a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, January 28, 2021 at the Leland Mennonite Church with funeral services at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 29, 2021 at the church.
Mr. & Mrs. Koehn lived in the Leland, MS area from 1967 till 1989. Weldon worked in construction, making many friends in the area. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ Mennonite. He was a pastor at the Leland Mennonite Church.
Weldon’s wife, Deloris, passed away December 19, 2020, ending sixty-four years of wedded life.
Surviving are his children: Shirley (Calvin) Koehn, Leland, MS; Kevin (Carol), Jamesport, MO; Bryan (Kim), Monterey, TN; and Melissa (Dennis) Shetler, Dalton, OH. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; as well as 3 brothers-in-law. He was preceded in death by 8 siblings.
