William “Billy” Virgil Rochelle was born on July 13, 1950 in Greenville, MS to William Henry and Bernice Trotter Rochelle. Billy was a longtime resident of Washington County. He worked on a towboat for 40 plus years as captain.
Billy was a loving and caring person and never met a stranger. He loved his family and loved his dogs. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Wanda Sue, a brother, Charlie Rochelle and a niece, Teresa Rochelle.
He is survived by a brother, Carl Rochelle, Sr.; daughters, Heidi Davis, Holly Delaughter and Tina Houston; nieces, Paige Rochelle, Tamela Rochelle, Candace Rochelle and Margo Rochelle, nephew, Carl Rochelle, Jr. and 5 grandchildren.
