Funeral services for William Carl Stafford, 82, of Glen Allan will be at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday at Boone Chapel, Hollandale. He died Sunday, October 21 at his home. Burial will be in the Hollandale City Cemetery.
Mr. Stafford was born in Delta City where receiving his education in Chatham. He worked in the Towboat Industry as a tankerman and he was also engaged in farming. Mr. Stafford made Glen Allan his home most of his life.
He is survived by his common-law wife, Katherine Neeley; two daughters, Darinda Dukes of Hollandale and Elizabeth Savko of Ashville, AL; son, William H. Stafford of Pearl; sister, Erma Jean Carroll of Carthage; brother, Robert Lee Stafford of Tyler, TX and six grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation one hour prior to the services at Boone Chapel, Hollandale.
