Funeral services for Wynell “Nell” Seymore Palmer, 88, of Greenville will be at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home, Greenville. She died Sunday, October 1 at her home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boone Funeral Home, Greenville.
Nell was born March 16, 1929 to Ferd J. and Addie Goynes Seymore in Monticello, AR. She attended school in Monticello and Little Rock, AR. She was employed by AR Power and Light. She married James L. Palmer in November 1947, just shy of 70 years of marriage. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Cornerstone Baptist Church. Nell loved to bake, work at her church and care for her grandchildren and husband. She was a faithful wife and mother.
Nell was preceded in death by her parents, daughter-in-law, Trevette Palmer and son-in-law, Billy Chandler.
She is survived by her husband, James L. Palmer; two daughters, Carole P. Chandler and Lynne P. Moorman; son, Randy L. (Marilyn) Palmer; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
There will be a visitation from 2:00-2:30 p.m., Wednesday at Boone Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to your home church.
