Funeral services for Yuk Ching Wong Jue, 94, of Houston, TX will be at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, September 1, 2024, at Boone Funeral Home. There will be a visitation from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
Mrs. Jue passed away on August 19, 2024, in Houston, TX. She was born on July 17, 1930, in the Guangdong province of China and immigrated to the United States settling in Hollandale, MS in 1962. Mrs. Jue co-owned and operated a grocery store in Hollandale before retiring and eventually relocating to Houston in 1992.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Frank Chew Fon Jue, son Christoper Neil Jue, and son-in-law Larry Moon (husband of Frances Jue). She is survived by five daughters, Noreen Wilson (Louis), Frances Jue, Debbie Seid (William), Jane Olinger, Judy Jue (Randy Smith); two sons, Frank Jue (Wendy), Stephen Jue (Crystal); nine grandchildren, Andrew Wilson (Christina), Bradford Wilson (Jennifer), Kelley Seid, Timothy Olinger (Desiree), Lauren Olinger, Matthew Olinger, Elizabeth Jue, Christopher Jue, Derek Jue; and four great grandchildren, Richard Wilson, Cole Wilson, Miles Wilson, and Zachary Wilson.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any memorials be designated in Mrs. Jue’s honor to the Greenville, MS Chinese Cemetery Association, MS Delta Chinese Heritage Museum at Delta State University, or the Christopher Neil Jue Scholarship at Mississippi State University.
